CLIENT
Our client is the successful Power & Utilities Corporate Finance practice of one of the Big Four.  They work within the Regulatory Asset Base to provide expertise around Regulatory Economics, Econometrics and Project Finance.

BRIEF
Due to their highly specialised model, the client was continually under-resourced, often having to borrow another 100% of their headcount from elsewhere in the business to meet client requirements.  We were asked to support them in bringing multiple individuals into the team at varying levels of seniority.

STRATEGY
Our approach was to focus mostly on gaining as comprehensive understanding as possible regarding what makes our client better than the competition.  Why should an individual who is not looking to move, make this move?  We concluded there were clear reasons why individuals would wish to join this team which the client, and previous search partners, had not considered.

RESULTS
By taking this clearer proposition to market we were able to increase their headcount by 15% over a 12 month period.  We continue to partner with the client supporting their ongoing growth.
